Hectic Life
How far behind on life am I? Well, that is the last episode of General Hospital that I watched. Um, that's over 3 months ago! People, this was a show that I never missed! Ever! OK, I would catch up on a week's worth of episodes, once a week. Yes, I'd watch all 5 episodes in one day.
But as you can see, it's been a while. I've been so busy! And I haven't even been on schedule at the hospital since July! If I'm this behind in life now, what's going to happen between now and Christmas?
And my family wonders why I'm still single. What man wants to compete with my hectic school and work schedule? ♥Besitos

Pretty Little Liars

OK, I'm going to confess something here. I like Pretty Little Liars. And I finally watched this week's episode. Which I enjoyed. A lot! Would have liked it more if Aria and Ezra were together. But that's the name of the game. Right?
I really like Aria's style though. That's the real reason why I watch the show. :) I know, teens watch this show. But what can I say? I really watch for Aria's style. I love her makeup and hair. It's a girl thing. You know what I mean? I guess because you don't see many brunette actresses that get attention. But the stylist for this show is doing a great job!
Now if I just had some money to go out and buy some similar items. But a girl can dream. And I wish, my hair would do that same thing. Oh to have hair that is beautiful. And that makeup too. ♥Besitos

Pretty Little Liars

This just might be my new favorite show. I know. I'm older than the target audience. But it's a good show. Not to mention, I really like Aria's style. I'm just saying. It's a good show. A little out there. But good. I hear that it's based on a series of books. I don't know. I haven't read them. But this show, it's good. :) And I'll be trying to figure out how to watch it every week. You know, I don't have cable. ♥Besitos

Life Unexpected

My new favorite show is Life Unexpected! It's quirky and hilarious! It sorta reminds me of Gilmore Girls. It's just that kind of show. I know, not everyone is going to like this show. But I do. It's silly. And a feel good show. Something that I enjoy a lot! I like the mix of characters. I just can't wait to see where this show goes. ♥Besitos

Happy 40th Birthday Sesame Street!

Today is the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street. How many of us grew up watching our favorite PBS show? I know I was a HUGE fan. I know that my older sister, now 38, watched it. I can sit and talk to almost anyone that I know, and we have some fond memory of Big Bird and the gang.
I still can't believe it has been 40 years. OK, so the gang had already been on the air for 14 years when I was born. But seriously, 40 years is a long time! I watched Sesame Street for many years. This was before the days of Elmo. My favorite guy was Oscar the Grouch. I had stuffed animals, books, and clothes with the famous characters. I even had the bedding and some Christmas ornaments. These characters, were like my family.
If you knew just one thing about me, as a kid, I spent a lot of time on my own. Yes, in the 80s, it wasn't unheard of, to spend time by yourself. Even as a small kid. I was a "latch key kid." Who lost at least 3 keys a week. I also spent hours at home alone. Big Bird and the gang were my pals! They got me through the tough days of chicken pox, and the lonely days without my parents.
Today, I sit and watch them with my 4 year old goddaughter. But we watch in Spanish. Not much has changed in the past 20 something years. Many of the songs are the same. Sure, there are a few new guys on the block. And famous people sure do like the show. But it is the same gang that I laughed with, for so many fond years. Here's to another 40 years! ♥Besitos
